On this exciting one-day course you will learn about the following:

Empowerment – Your own sense of empowerment without trying to control or being controlled by others

Proactive Behaviour – Personally and professionally making decisions assertively when there is conflict in the workplace.

Understanding and communicating how you expect other people to behave towards you.

Being unapologetic for your views in conversation with other people

Resisting people who try to manipulate or use aggression

The course includes a review of situations in where delegates wish to be more assertive when dealing with challenging behaviour. An understanding of how delegates are presently dealing with conflict situations and a clarification of other available options. Allowing participants to reflect on how they can adapt their own approach which can result in greatly improved outcomes.

Self-confidence is vitally important in feeling greatly empowered so the course includes valuable hints and tips to ensure that delegates have their own confidence building Rules and Responsibilities.
Preparation for assertive behaviour allows delegates to rehearse highly useful approaches to self-manage and remain calm and in control in stressful situations. Delegates will receive an easy to follow 7 step feedback guide to aid confident communication in the workplace.

Delegates will learn a superb range of verbal skills so they can practise navigating difficult conversations in a warm but direct manner.
